Grading Policy
  • * School-wide midterms will be distributed 4 weeks into each grading period. These provide a good gauge on how well your child is progressing in class.
  •
  • *Grades are computed using a point system. The number of points a student has earned on each assignment will be added together then divided by the total amount of points possible to determine a final average. Tests and projects will be worth considerably more points than homework or classwork.

- Generally, most classwork/HW assignments may be corrected and resubmitted.
- Test/Project assignments may not be corrected and resubmitted for a higher grade.

* Did you know that you can check on your student's grades at home? Just ask your child to log in to his/her PowerSchool account.

* All assignments (including an online textbook) may be accessed through Google Classroom. Your child can complete almost everything we do in class at home. Log on to Google Classroom using the school gmail/PW.
