Greetings! Welcome to my webpage. I began working at Charles D. Owen Middle School in the fall of 2014. Prior to that, I was counselor at Erwin High School. I currently work with all 6th graders and half of the 7th. Before my life in Buncombe County Schools, I was a substance abuse counselor at the former JEC right across the street from OMS. I love working in the Swannanoa valley. I earned my bachelors degree from the University of Florida in 1994 and earned my masters degree in School Counseling from Western Carolina University in 2004. I live in Candler with my wonderful wife Stephanie, along with 4 cats, two dogs, a bunch of chickens, a few ducks, some rabbits and too many honey bees to count.
