Let's keep this Owen pride going in the Valley by building a stronger community at the Middle School. You can do that by being involved in so many ways.
1. Concessions are BACK (and we need help!): This is a GREAT opportunity for community-building at OMS!
If you are able please take some time to volunteer for concessions for the home Wrestling or Basketball games. It is EASY and earns money for PTO, the Athletic Department or a Club if you represent one of those. Great way for parents of wrestlers, basketball players or cheerleaders to volunteer while they are at the school to support their child!
Here's how it works:
- Sign up HERE (2-3 people-1 adult required and then kids can help also)
- Put what organization you are volunteering for (PTO, General, SGA, Sports Team, specific club, etc)
- Give your email so you can receive a reminder
- Show up on your date! Instructions on counting the money and candy will be there.
2. Staff Holiday Coffee on December 9th: Provide a store bought or homemade baked good for Staff Appreciation on Friday, December 9th. Leave in the office by Thursday afternoon (Dec 8) OR drop off by 7:30 a.m. on Friday! Please sign up here if you can help.
3. Volunteer at the Book Fair
The BOOK FAIR is back! We need volunteers during the Crafts Fair (2 shifts available) AND on the evening of Dec 8th. Please sign up here if you can help.
